Most of the people who live here on Polillo island know where Bato Beach Resort is. Even during the summer, a large number of tourists visit this beach resort. We chose Bato beach as our destination for our blog because it has retained its cham over the years. It’s still beautiful, calming, and nostalgic. So, here our quick trip to Bato Beach Resort!

Just a quick background: Bato Beach Resort is located in Brgy, Kalubakis, Sitio Agta, Polillo, Quezon. Using a motorcycle, it is just a-40-minute drive from Polillo town proper. Sure, the road is quite bumpy, but even along the way, you can see some eye-catching scenery that is worth taking a picture of Bato Beach was originally discovered by the American. Supposedly the Americans were going to build a port there because they found out that there are a lot of carbon minerals located in that beach resort. Unfortunately, the content of the carbon minerals was too low, so they just abandoned the plan of building a port there.

You can already see the beauty of the rock formations, feel the calming sea breeze, and smell the salt air as you enter the beach resort. The entrance fee to this beach resort is so cheap that you only need to pay 30 pesos for it. Bato Beach Resort is known for its instagrammable scenery and cozy ambiance. There are also some bamboo cottages lined up for tourist accommodations.

The cottages that the lined up for the guest are another factor in the guest satisfaction, for the simple reason that they are big enough to cover at least 10 people. In addition, the trees around the cottages provide shade for the guest, so that they can rest comfortably and eat in peace.

Speaking of rest, there is actually a good place on the side to rest peacefully. The area is quite high to see the rock formations and the various shades of blue sea. The ground is covered with grass, and the trees that surround the area give it some shade. We even stayed there because we felt a sense of calm pervade our entire being as a result of the ambiance provided by the location, from the gentle wind hugging us to the sound made by the waves as they hit the rocks and sand, which were like music to our ears. Having to spend time in there makes you feel at peace.

From the cottages, everyone could see the center of attraction at Bato Beach Resort. The fine sand, the bright blue sea, and the ostensibly port- now used as a photo shoot location. Seeing that view while resting is really-taking. The view gives off a positive vibe, and from looking at that view while eating, we felt like the food was tastier than usual. The views of the sea from that vantage point are so beautiful that not swimming would be a mistake.

Located in the picturesque town of Polillo, Quezon, Bato Beach has a rich and diverse history that spans centuries. The area has been nhabited by the indigenous Dumagat people since pre-colonial times, who considered the beach a sacred site for spiritual rituals and ceremonies. According to local legend, the Dumagats believed that the beach was inhabited by spirits and ancestors, who protected the area from harm.

In the 16th century, Spanish conquistadors arrived in Polillo and established the town as a settlement. Bato Beach served as a key location for trade and commerce, with the Spanish using the beach as a port for their ships. The beach's strategic location made it an important hub for the Spanish colonial government.

During the American colonial period, Bato Beach continued to thrive as a commercial center. The Americans established a number of businesses in the area, including copra and fishing industries. The beach's economy continued to grow, with the local population benefiting from the influx of trade and commerce.

In recent years, Bato Beach has experienced a surge in tourism, with visitors drawn to the beach's stunning natural beauty. The beach's crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and stunning rock formations make it a tropical paradise. The local government has invested heavily in infrastructure development, including the construction of new roads, hotels, and resorts.

Today, Bato Beach is a thriving tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. The beach's rich history and culture are still evident, with the local population proud to share their heritage with visitors. Whether you're interested in history, culture, or simply relaxing on a beautiful beach, Bato Beach in Polillo, Quezon is a must-visit destination in the Philippines.

An iconic landmark in Polillo Island with a unique feature of panoramic sea views, golden sand shore, crystal water and a scenic captivating beauty of the historical unfinished port combined in one. A perfect getaway destination for swimming, sightseeing, beach bumming and diving.

When we jumped into the sea, the water felt really nice since the water’s temperature mak was not as cold thanks to the heat that the sun releases. Swimming and playing in the sea felt really good, and we were able to fully enjoy the experience that Bato Beach resort can give. Allowing our bodies to be swayed by the waves makes us laugh, just like the others who were swimming at Bato Beach.
